Computer Instruction Classes

The Independence County Library is now offering Computer Instruction Classes. Some of the classes now offered, or to be offered soon are:

• Computer Basics: Learning the Mouse
• Beyond the Mouse: The Desktop
• Is this thing on? Computers and their components
• Microsoft Word
• Basic Internet
• Internet Searching Techniques
• Internet Safety
• Basic Keyboarding

Classes run about one hour and a small notepad and pen are recommended for taking notes. A limited number of seats is available and reservations are required for all classes. Contact the lbrary at (870) 793-8814 for specific dates and times, and to register for classes.
